PRODUCTION METHOD
Wetality Spanish origanum essential oil is produced by steam
distillation of the leaves and flowering tops of
the herb.
MIX
It blends well with other herbal essential oils, but lemon is
one of the best combinations as it
softens the edgy bitter scent of spanish origanum. This combination is also a very
powerful match when wanting to boost one’s immune system.
USE
Spanish oregano is a very strong oil, therefore stronger dilution than for other essential oils is recommended.
Aromatic: Add a drop to your diffuser together with Lemon, Lavender or Boswellia to help with the respiratory conditions or to simply help prevent them from occurring.
Topical:
Add a drop or two to a carrier oil (preferably mix with Lemon and Boswellia essential oils) and massage onto the chest to help relieve cough or other mild respiratory issues. Dilute with the carrier oil and massage onto bladder area when having urinary infections to help fight the infection.
Use together with regular medical procedure, it is not a medicine.
You can blend it with Boswellia and Lemon to rub on your feet for immune support. Dilute 1 drop in a base oil and apply to skin to help fight yeast problems.
Spanish oregano should be avoided with young children and pregnant women due to high carvacrol content. It should be heavily diluted as it may cause irritation of the mucus membranes and skin.
USEFUL TIPS
If you don't have fresh or dried oregano at hand, you can use this essential oil instead. Because it is very strong, it is advisable to use a toothpick method: open the bottle and dip the end of a toothpick into it and then dip this toothpick into the dish that you are preparing. If the flavour is not strong enough, repeat the process with a fresh toothpick.
Add a few drops to any home cleaning agent (together with Lemon if possible) and you will get a powerful surface cleaner.
CAUTION
Always dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Avoid
sensitive areas. Avoid eye contact and mucus membranes. Do not ingest. Do not use if pregnant or under the care of a medical practitioner.

Can be used for colds and stuffy noses, with hot baths, both in the tub and over steam.

Insect repellent: mix 1 drop with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil. For a stronger mixture add 1 drop of peppermint, basil and lavender.
