Rosemary is a culinary and healing herb. Ít is native to the Mediterranean region where it has been used for centuries. It belongs to an aromatic family of herbs that includes Basil, Lavender, Myrtle, and Sage.
The British Pharmacopoeia states that the oil distilled from the flowering tops and other plant parts is superior to that obtained only from the stem and leaves.
